Kern County firefighters worked early Friday morning to put out a fire at a home in east Bakersfield.
Neighbors called 911 saying a home on Barlow street, near Niles Street, was on fire. Crews were able to put the flames out quickly.
The home was vacant and no one was injured, fire officials said.
The cause is under investigation.
